With its free accommodation, good salary, and proximity to Taipei City, this large English academy is IDEAL for someone who is seeking to save money while being close to the capital of Taipei.

The school is a beautiful and comfortable facility. It has a kindergarten department and an elementary after-school English program as well. Very stable hours and environment. They are currently seeking 4 Full-Time Teachers and 4 Afternoon Teacher. Currently there are 6-10 foreign teachers working for the school.

It is a fast-paced program, so someone experienced in teaching Taiwanese buxiban or Korean hagwons would be preferred. However, first-time teachers are welcome to apply, too, as we do provide training and orientation. A foreign teacher’s main job is mainly focusing on the students’ conversation skills, while
the grammar would be taught by the Chinese English teachers.

Terms:
1. Full Time:
A. Salary: 60000/month to start, but can be more after your teaching demo and initial trial period.
B. Working hours are 830am - 630pm, Mon-Fri.
C. Students’ ages are kindergarten to 6th graders
2. Afternoon:
A. Salary: 40000/month, can be more as well, depending upon performance (same as above).
B. Working hours are 130 - 630pm, Mon-Fri.
C. Students’ ages are 1st to 6th graders
3. Curriculum: Provided
4. Housing: FREE!!!
5. Bonuses: Attendance bonuses, holiday bonuses, and monthly performance bonuses
6. Meals: Free lunch and afternoon snack
7. Work visa: Sponsored by school
8. Insurance: Health and accidental sponsored by school
9. Training: School will provide basic training for all of its teachers
10. Holidays: Paid national holidays and sick days



Taoyuan City is a growing city in northern Taiwan, only around 30 minutes from Taipei by train or bus, or 15 minutes by the bullet train. Many people live in Taoyuan and commute to work in Taipei. It’s a good sized city with things to do outdoors and is very convenient to live in (don’t worry, there are Starbucks and department stores there!) Not only that, Taoyuan is significantly cheaper yet more comfortable to live in than Taipei, so it makes the perfect place to live if you are seeking to save money without being too far away from the big city lifestyle of Taipei.

Qualifications:
1) Native English Speaker of English. ABC/CBC and couples are welcome to apply also!
2) Able to work immediately and sign a one-year contract.
3) Must hold a B.A. degree or higher and between the ages of 22 - 40.
4) A professional disposition and a sincere desire to teach children.
5) A team player that enjoys sharing and collaborating with colleagues.
6) A desire to learn and grow from a different culture.
