August 2009 TESOL Certification & Job Program in Taipei, Taiwan

EU Growth is looking for 8 to 15 passionate kindergarten/elementary/junior high school teachers to teach English as a foreign language and other subjects at a prestigious private bilingual school in Hsinchu, Taiwan or at other language schools in Taiwan. Teachers will take one week of intensive TESOL certification training courses in Taipei before starting their one-year teaching contract in late August or early September of 2009. Teachers will gain an international TESOL certificate granted by the UK’s Telford Academy of English upon satisfactorily meeting course and testing requirements.

**Preferences**
Ethnicity: Caucasian; Hispanic; Asian (must be born in the U.S. and Canada, and hold valid teaching license).
Age: 22~50.

**Qualifications**
Before you apply online, you must first meet the minimum qualifications according to current labor laws in Taiwan:
(1) Hold a bachelor's degree or above in any major (graduating students may apply early); AND
(2) Hold a valid passport of any of the following six English-speaking countries: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

**August 2009 Schedule of Training & Teaching**
Aug. 19~24: 8:30~12:30, 13:30~17:30; 48-hours.
Aug. 26~28: 2 days of job training in Hsinchu.
Aug. 31 or Sep. 1: Start one-year teaching contract in Hsinchu.

**Program Fee**
An enrollment fee of US$100 is payable by July 24 via Paypal to payment@eugrowth.com after you are offered admission.
A TESOL training fee of TW$15,000 is payable on August 19.
A TESOL training fee of TW$15,000 is payable right after the training course, but no later than receiving the first salary payment.

**TESOL Training Meals**
Lunch, snacks, and dinner are provided each day of the training course; 5 days total.

**Short-term Accommodation in Taipei**
Convenient accommodation in central Taipei City with access to mass rapid transit (MRT) and Internet can be arranged during TESOL training.

**Hsinchu Job Salary**
Monthly salary of TW$65,000; TW$70,000 for teacher with valid teaching license that allows him/her to teach in public/private schools.

**Long-term Accommodation in Hsinchu**
The school offers limited number of accommodation at only TW$6,600 per month. EU Growth can also refer studios to you.

**Note**
The school in Hsinchu will interview applicants prior to the TESOL training course to make a hiring decision. Applicants not accepted by the school in Hsinchu will be referred to other schools.
