Openings for English teachers - Teach kids, age 3 to 12

Start: December 2008, January / February and April 2009.

- 2 year contract

Benefits

• Salary: ¥280,000 for 1st year, ¥310,000 for 2nd year.
• ¥3,000 / hour for overtime if available.
• Fully furnished apartment and key money paid by company. Teacher has to pay ¥50,000 for rent every month. Subsidy from E.A.C. for any amount over ¥50,000 (2 bedrooms).
• Company car and gas expense provided.
• National holidays (13 days a year), Saturdays & Sundays off.
• Extra paid holidays with 5 days in late March, 5 days in mid August and 9-10 days for Christmas. (19-20 days a year)
• 1 way ticket from Japan to own country upon completion of the 2nd year contract.

Job Description

* Teachers will have classes with kids age 3 to 5 in 30 minutes classes through interactive activities, songs etc. in the mornings.
* After school hours, students will come to classes (40 to 50 minutes classes) with textbooks and workbooks. Kids age 5 and above will have to take English tests in February.
* Teaching hours is not more than 26 classroom hours per week. Less working hours in March, April and August.

Required

• Native English speaker
• College diploma and/or university degree.
• Love working with kids.
• Valid driver's license from own country and apply for an international driver's license before arrival in Japan.
• No age limit.

Location: Ibaraki Prefecture, 100 klm. Northeast of Tokyo.
