![]() | Re: Field Trips? I think field trips are great when teaching. The places to go would all depend on where you are and what is available around you. There are lots of places you can go to see the American history and that would help in teaching english. |

![]() | Field Trips for students I used to take my students to the horse races and local zoo. When I say the horse races, it was on a day when no horses were racing, but instead we would picnic amongst the flowers and nicely landscaped grounds. The students were 4 years old and they loved it. We would all hop on a train together and there were 3 teachers looking after 10 students. Lot's of fun. We all take our lunch box along and enjoy the sun. |

![]() | Re: Field Trips for students I remember having a field trip back when I was still in kindergarten. We went to the zoo together with about 5 teachers. It's actually a field trip for the whole day of our class, not just for our English subject. In my opinion, field trips actually help students to learn more. |

![]() | Re: Field Trips? It gives them a chance to break out of the same old thing everyday. Field trips also help to expand the mind, and gives the class a chance to see some of things they have been reading and learning about. |

![]() | Re: Field Trips? I do agree. Children tend to relate things. Hence field trips help a lot and my experience is children learn more in open atmosphere. And infact it is one class where all the subjects can be taught together - from english to maths, science to history. Activities depend on the age group. For toddlers you can have group games to add up things and visits to zoo. Visits to botanical farms can be useful. Industrial visits do serve the purpose |
