![]() | English Summer Camps Hello there! You should check out English summer camps and explore! The experience is one of a kind. I’ve seen pictures from a friend where they were settled in one fine place along with a team of counsellors that can definitely speak your language. Hence, there are no hindrances for immersion and communication is not difficult to achieve among each other. You should try it too! |

![]() | Re: English Summer Camps If you are planning to run your own summer courses then the ideal is to use songs, drama and games to teach the children. Also see if you can be outdoors enjoying the sun and fresh air. This makes it more of a summer camp than extended school time! Small groups are always better as they allow for more individual attention and speaking opportunities for the participants. Groups of 12 are really ideal as you have a fun group dynamic but it's also easy to manage them. A great way to end a summer camp is with a show to parents. This is motivating for the kids as they are working towards a specific goal. Parents love to see what their children have been up to and feel included in the project, and teachers get the satisfaction of seeing a show case of their work. Shows do not have to be complex or lengthy. A few action songs, a few games where kids show off vocabulary or short sentences and a funny role play or skit - that is all it takes for every one to be happy. For plays and skits, songs and games for kids check out my site. I included a pic of kids learning clothing. All the best Shelley
