Any good ESL podcasting sites?

Hi, I am a teacher in China. I really want to start getting my intermediate students listening to real English. Does anyone know any fun sites with decent free podcasts for my students?

Thanks so much!

Brown

Re: Any good ESL podcasting sites?

Hello Brown,

I'm not sure exactly of the content you are looking for but I have recently found a new site that looks interesting. I think it has just started but I have heard some of their listening podcasts and they seem to be focussing on a lot of the words and phrases that are actually spoken in conversation.

I have been getting my students here in Shanghai to listen to them and they seem to have really enjoyed them. I think it will be a great site to learn this "real" english that i think you are referring to. They seem pretty hilarious too, not like the other podcasts I've heard for esl that are so dull.

The website is China232: Free English lessons

I hope this helps. I hope they keep making a lot more. I'm a little bit of a lazy teacher haha so hope these guys keep bailing me out!

Hello,

You will find many resources online. Try looking at one of them here

This site, One Stop, seems to have a few podcasts available as well. I hope this helps you out.
