Re: Smith's School of English in Japan

Ok folks, I guess we all get the picture. I think a blind person could get it to be honest! After so many pages of this, I reckon it's best to let this dead horse lie where it is and move on to greener pastures huh?
As I tell my students, think of what you can do rather than the things you can't.You've certainly done all you can do, and personally, I think you can't do much more except stir things up even worse, so as a personal favour, canya please quit now? I do, however, understand the need to expose ratbags like this character appears to be, so good onya!
My 2 cents has been said!

Smith's School of English

I have to agree with exported_kiwi. This thread has been going on an on and we all get the idea now.

Future posts to this thread will be deleted UNLESS it is new factual information and focussed on the topic. Discussions about past friendships etc are not relevant to this thread and will be deleted.

THANK YOU, GFELL!!! Whatever the real problem, this was no longer the place for it.

If you could at least delete several of the more repetitious and irrelevant posts it would at least make this whole thread more readable and maybe help someone who otherwise would have to weed through it all to find anything of real value.

Just a suggestion.

Re: Smith's School of English in Japan

What has kept the Smiths School of English Story from reaching the people that can be saved from financial pain?

Re: Smith's School of English in Japan

Smith's School of English has been named Worst Franchise for 2007 by the TEFL Blacklist site:

The TEFL Blacklist: The Oscar Results 2007

I'd say the story's getting out fine for now. Though Smith does try his best to have such squelched otherwise.

Re: Smith's School of English in Japan

Now it seems that Smith has taken the "truth" to a whole new level.

He is pretending to be a poster called G.I.Joe or something who is now a 3 franchisee school owner in the area around Kobe.

Smith's only seeing one color now and its red. Chocolate English and Smiths are both Franchisee schools operating in Kansai. Though Chocolate english's website looks like a 5 dollar and 3 minute job, its sure to be somthing Smithy would do to try to "Franchise" a Cafe teaching system.

Good on ya Smithy...classy man

Are you saying you're supposedly a Smith franchisee?

Smith's School of English

Here BC;

The TEFL Blacklist: Smith's School of English, Japan

When the fakes got you started by talking about the Kyobashi office being an actual smuggling business for drugs and WMDs weapons or whatever you start off at "I think I've let the Smith cohorts..." and you refer to both Bearcat and Smithwatch as two different people in third person.That's the lie.

NO BC.No public record=made up story.At city hall I was told that a civil award like the one described in your smithwatch site would have some trace you can easily find, even if the details are not disclosed.What do you have to say now?A lot of people are watching you with serious doubt.

And the Blacklists you mentioned and the other critics.Of course you instigated all this and got them to write stuff based on your made up 'facts' and 'facts' that came from a person who is mentally ill.They only exsit because of your obsession with Smith.

And you used to pretend that you lost money from Smiths when you never had any actual transaction with them.Why did you lie about that?-Yes, you don't anymore but you did.

You went so far to use my real name for your obsessive bashing efforts so I'm coming right back at you.

To Joe: I don't like to use real names like Bearcat does. But the person 'SS'.That initial stands for his real name.And he did used to work for Smith's School organization.Sorry SS.The guy is really sick and needs help.Like dealing with a baby, but worse soI don't think he should be hated.But because of the damage done by SS his real condition I think should be discussed.I just hope he doesn't do anything to himself but you can bet Bearcat has no concern for his well being.He just used SS to extract bogus information about Smiths.Notice BC is avoiding the topic about SS.SS?Please take care of yourself.BC is no friend of yours or never was.I kind of understand what you are going through because I've been involved personally with people who have this kind of trouble.Please see a mental health specialist.But BC, what's your excuse?

Re: Smith's School of English in Japan

yessir, its time that more info about the truth of Smiths and his little elfling Chocolateenglish are doing with franchising in Japan.

No-one especially Smith are using their real names on this thread, only poor old crazy Scotty did and look where that got him.

Franchising in Japan between Gaijin to Gaijin is clearly a dodgy and dangerous business due to the amount of traffic generated.

There are some Smiths people who I've met who seemed ok, they didnt really get to the head office much, but they were doing ok.

There are others who I met who were on their way out, tired out of money and energy and ready to throw it all in...

Main thing that Smiths makes money all the way in and out for the customers who have to get Visa Support. Mark has if you believe the posting driven many to nervous and financial ruin, though obviously not everyone within the system, otherwise his money would dry up, right?

Marks here to stay, just like cigarettes, alcohol and cancer. Aint' nothing any people can do about it....

Re: Smith's School of English in Japan

Seems Bearcat has pussied out and hiding in his little Bearhole.Can't take a debate and is in complete denile on how obvious it is that his Smithwatch site is 99.999% full of lies.

FACT.There was never any legal dispute settled in a public forum in Japan.Proof is public record--or lack thereof.In fact, according to Bearcat's main source;

"...several suits filed against them, with one large win (payout of 50,000USD) just recently..."

This claim is not just one suit but several, SEVERAL, but ZERO public record on any. ANY.Bearcat should be upset because he knows;

1)He has no explanation and his lack of response is further proof on his lies

2)Everyone who does search on Smith will see this and will puts all of Bearcat's BS in the spotlight to everybody.

What say you BC?We know you are reading this and now you need to respond.But you know you can't.
