Santis Mongolia Avoid

I worked for Santis recently and can assure you that the information you will find on here is true, unfortunately I chose to ignore what some former Teachers had already posted on the internet. The hours are absolutely appalling and the salary is a joke for what they expect you to do. The school is co - run by Orgilmaa Dolgoon and her pet Englishman Andrew Orgil to whom she is also married. The management are a joke and take great pleasure in piling on the work and if you complain your cards are marked permanently. Mongolians seem to think as long as they are boss they can do as they like to their employees and it's high time they joined the 21st Century and realized that by treating good staff badly and lying and cheating them out their time and abusing them without reason all they are going to do is continue to piss people off. ALSO THE ONLY WAY ORGILMAA MANAGED TO LAND THE NO 1 SCHOOL AWARD AND GET ADDS IN ALL THE PAPERS IS BECAUSE HER BROTHER WAS THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION (I SHIT YOU NOT)! AND SHE'S CHUMMY WITH THE EDITOR OF ONE OF THE ENGLISH NEWS PAPERS.

This place is an absolute insult to the word academic, unfortunately Mongolia is already too corrupt to deal with the most menial of problems let alone corrupt Government officials doing favors of their siblings. There are loads and loads of schools here, unfortunately Santis is the only one on the net and I wouldn't be surprised if the Witch that runs this place has something to do with it, avoid even on the eve of Armaggedon

Re: Santis Mongolia Avoid this cesspool

and whats more ... shame on you to all those who know what this place is like. The ex - pats who know people who go to mongolia to teach and you know the people that have worked there and don't have the decency to speak up. I saw an add Santis posted at DAVES ESL Cafe and it's bullshit, calling former Teachers liars! I wish I had met these people, I would have bought them a drink! You should be ashamed of yourselves. I gave up my home and my job to go and teach there, based on what the MANAGEMENT AT SANTIS PROMISED and left with alot less than what I came with. THEN THEY CALL YOU IMMATURE! All you people care about is money and yourselves, I would say your reputations but if you had one you wouldn't be a corrupt shit hole like Mongolia, chatting up girls half your age and then bragging to your pals about it.

As for Santis. You can get a job at any other school in Mongolia that pays you twice as much, including some state schools. and you won't be kept awake at night worrying about what you're going to be told off for the next day, or what kind of mood the idiots running the place will be putting on you. God knows non of them have any Teaching experience thats worth mentioning.

Re: Santis Mongolia Avoid

There are numerous posts regarding Santis on many sites. As has been said on many sites, it pays to check these lists out before one signs a contract. I presonally wouldn't go near them based on the many negative postings I've seen about them, but teaching in Mongolia does seem an interesting idea, if only I could handle the cold and lack of basic neccesities like, bread, butter, cheese and stuff like that, If those things are vailable there, then I stand corrected.
