![]() | Re: Don't work here: American School, A.I.E.S. in Nagoya, Japan So Sir: What you are saying is that all of the things that all these teacher's have posted on here are lies? I certainly would care if I were you. Wow, what a conspiracy! I wanted to post this information for the teacher. I have seen all of her evidence and it is overwhelming. That and the statements of everyone else. The thing is no one cares about you. But we who have posted on here care about the well being of future teacher's and they need to know about you and your wife. Enough said. It is time to end this. |

![]() | Re: Don't work here: American School, A.I.E.S. in Nagoya, Japan No one wants to say bad things about people. We all want to enjoy our privacy and to mix and enjoy our lives with the people with work with and for. This post regarding American school and AIES has now proven that the two people who run the school, Dan and Hitomi, are not people, employers, friends or colleagues that can be trusted. Mr. Lewis does not answer questions that are put to him and yet he asks everyone else questions on this post. But of course every time Mr. Lewis asks a question it’s usually related to trying to find out who is writing the new post. In the last post, Sage has shown through IP addresses that Mr. Lewis is in fact attacking people’s privacy through the internet Mr. Lewis cannot run from the fact but again he doesn’t answer the questions. Mr. Lewis and his wife profess to be Mormons and Christians. He should then know the text He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. Now I believe in forgiveness and understanding, my hatred for what he does has turned into pity now and each day I pray that he will change his way BUT Mr. Lewis continues to abuse people through the internet because he believes it can not be proved that he is the perpetrator of the emails WELL THIS IS NOT TRUE any more is it Mr. Lewis? Sage was correct in what he said about Mr. Lewis and his IP addresses. You cannot hide from it but there is more Mr. Lewis sets up email addresses that are similar to the person he is trying to abuse. These email addresses are always set up in another country for example America while he is living in Japan This is for a few reasons. People usually do not check the email address, as they would never think it is from the a different person and not from a liar, also the laws in America make it hard to obtain the users IP number and account details due to privacy laws. Finally Mr. Lewis believed that the police in Japan wouldn’t be bothered by all the complaints and just let him continue. It’s true that the police in Japan are too concerned with all the murders that go on in their country than worrying about a gaijin living in Japan and other countries making complaints. WELL EVERYONE THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The police have taken it seriously. The American, Canadian and Japanese police had been receiving so many calls and complaints that they are now taking these complaints seriously. They contacted the email provider in America and found out that the IP number was guess who? Yes Mr. and Mrs. Lewis. Recently Mr. Lewis received a call from the police in Nagoya and given a warning. He was told that if he continues to abuse people using the internet and it could be proven that he was the abuser by tracing IP numbers or by other means then further action would be taken The Japanese police said that Mr. Lewis’s voice was trembling as he was speaking. So it amuses me that Mr. Lewis would say in his last post “I have moved on. Feel free to dig away”. And “You seem to be obsessed with trying to dig up dirt that doesn't exist” Well Mr. Lewis this isn’t the truth is it? Do you really want us to keep digging? And what is also amusing is that when Sage posted on the site at 1.29am, Mr. Lewis responded within minutes at 1.50am. This does not sound like a man that is over this site or posts I think Mr. Lewis is terrified of these posts and the fact that nearly 8,000 people have viewed it is haunting him and his wife, because now they are getting destroyed by the very instrument that they use. He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. So I must commend the people who have posted and who will continue to post And if anyone has a complaint against email or internet abuse that they think may be coming from Mr. Lewis, you should go to the police in your country and complain I’m sure they will listen to you now. |

![]() | Re: Don't work here: American School, A.I.E.S. in Nagoya, Japan Well, Hello there all. I have good news for all of you teaches that have had bad working experiences. It's called having connections in high places to get these schools either shut down or have them come to terms and change there work conditions, etc. I have been in contact with a few on here and have been contacting most people on some of the other schools listed on the black list. It is too easy to just say bad things and not back them up with solid evidence. I need facts that can be backed up and not things like having to pay a fine for being late. That is something that many companies do in Japan so that is not worth writing about, but I can include things like having to work longer hours without pay, having to pay higher costs for someone subbing, privacy issues, being stocked, video taped, threatned, docked pay for talking to parents outside of a school, and the big one. NO health care, and pension. This is such a common occurence among Eikawa schools in Japan and the people that I am in contact want this stopped for they and the rest of the tax payers are losing millions of dollars. I have had contact with a friend who writes for a major newspaper in Japan and they are willing to do an article on American School and many other of these black listed schools. I look forward to getting the real story out there. There does seem to be something wrong for I have never seen one teacher on here post any good experiences about the school or have anything good to say. IT is nice to see the Principal on here defending himself but it seems that most of his posts are not very sincere in trying to fix the problem. He is just trying to intimidate young people who are living in Japan and dont have much of an idea how to defend themselves in a society where foreigners don't have much access to help. There is a teacher's union in Japan that you can call and talk to. They also have a lawyer available. I really suggest you all get together and get a game plan. I am hoping to get a few reporters from the newspaper and going to interview some of the present teachers at the school and see if they have heard of the past conditions. Also, if Mr. Lewis wants to get in the way of us trying to find out the truth, I dont see nothing wrong with an ad campaign and protest infront of his school. It is not hard to gather up ten to twenty people with signs and handouts to protest in front of the school. I will be contacting more and more people as this progresses forward. I would like to get in contact with some of you very soon. Sincerely, Mike Smith Last edited by gfell; Sat 22-Mar-08 at 07:19 PM. |

![]() | Re: Don't work here: American School, A.I.E.S. in Nagoya, Japan I think Mr. Smith that it is great that someone is taking measures to make these school accountable to the teachers and parents but most importantly to the children. There is no doubt that there is something terribly wrong at this school and others in Japan. I must caution you though. If you choose to protest outside of any school in Japan, you need a special permit. If you do not have one then the owner of the school could call the police and have you arrested. He could also sue you for interfering in his business. From what I have read, this would play right into Mr. Lewis's hands. He seems to have gone to extreme measures to win his case against one teacher by hacking her e-mails and presenting them in court, stalking her, video-taping her and threatening her and god knows what else he has done or would do. Make sure that if you proceed with this plan that you dot your "I"'s and cross your "T"'s in the legal sense. It is good to hear that the teacher's union has stepped up to the plate because from what I am reading the police in Japan didn't do their job. |
