![]() | Connexions and Ian Clark Please be aware that Ian Clark, who seems to be the recruiting agent in Japan for this Chinese organization, impersonates other officers of the company. If you are involved in e-mail correspondence with Connexions there is no certainty that you are actually corresponding with a real person, or pseudonym of Clark. I do not know whether Connexions is aware that Clark is doing this. Nor can I claim that Connexions is not a reputable company. I really don't know. But, Clark undeniably pretends to be a person called Jane Fang in China. Just read the thread about The New Village in Kobe in this forum and you will see what I'm talking about. If there really is a Jane Fang, I doubt she is aware that Clark is speaking for her. If she is aware of it, then I would recommend caution when dealing with Connexions at all. Sincerely, Brian Miller Director The New Village Kobe, Japan |

![]() | Ouch! By the way, links to this thread and the other thread are being forwarded to Connexions. I wonder whether Clark will continue to be associated with Connexions when they find out what a bad boy he's been! Naughty! Naughty! BM |

![]() | Connexions Why would anyone, including Connexions care to take your word for this? It's just as likely that Mr Clark is a perfectly reputable individual who allowed 'Jane' Fang to use his AACircle login/password for her own purposes and in good faith. If this is so then the ban is simply an auto-mechanism and not some sort of indictment of either party. I would also observe that a ban given in such circumstances or indeed in any other doesn't mean that anything so posted is untrue - it just seems to have breached AACircle regs. Anyway, I think most if not all of what is posted on forums is simply opinion and of no real life interest - including the remarks made about New Village. More power to all of you and I hope that you and Mr Clark can sit down and have a beer at the end of it all. Online fencing is OK, but lets stick to the rules. |

![]() | Carel, Clark has been impersonating other people on-line. It's pathetic. He's a pscho and deserved to be banned, though I'm sure he will pop up again under another pseudonym like...hmmmmmmm...let me see....oh, I know......Carel! Nice touch pretending to be posting from Scotland, instead on China this time. Good God man, give it up. |

![]() | Seige Mentality Seems that it's the noble Brian Miller vs The World at present. I would approach him with caution or he may just attack you as the amazing Mr Clark. I think I am rapidly approaching sympathy point for Mr Miller. In fact I am loathe to post in this thread at the risk of provoking yet another unusual outburst. After reading the Connexions posts (rule breakers or not - and I happen to think not), the conduct of New Village seems highly dubious. Indeed, Mr Miller's emails make me feel a little ill. However I would say this before depart - I doubt a breach of forum rules took place for the following reasons: 1. Connexions is without doubt a registered company in China called Shanghai Consulting Co. - this is completely verifiable. 2. As such it will have more than one member of staff in more than one location 3. Any member of staff who works for Connexions may of course claim the Connexions company name as their own when writing on company business 4. Therefore, it doesn't matter whether Jane Fang or anyone else posts as Connexions as long as they are working with Connexions in some capacity and the other members of the company agree. So, that's that - I hope that Connexions may continue to use AACircle as a legitimate and probably reputable company - they certainly seem to care about standards. |

![]() | Utik, Connexions is a company. Clark used to work for them. He apparently still does recruit teachers for connexions here in Japan. Read the posts carefully. Ian Clark actually says he is Jane Fang, a Chinese Woman who probably does work for Connexions, but is unaware that Clark is using her name to post. The Administrator of this forum checked out the source of the alleged post from Miss Fang and found them to come from Japan. Clark is is pretending to be another person. He's nuts. I'm sorry if you find this thread distasteful. I do too. I'm just trying to defend myself. B Miller |

![]() | Connexions - an Update Dear Brian Miller My name is Robert, and I work as a part-time administrator with Connexions. Most of my work is done online - so I do not need to be in China permanently. The moderator at AACircle did not say the posts came from inside Japan - he actually said that he could not be sure. He has therefore requested evidence from Jane Fang in Shanghai who is happy to supply this early next week. Let us clear this up - we are a registered company and we have employees around the world who take time to help us. We appreciate this and fully support them in using the Connexions name to bring unethical and/or unlawful practices to the publics attention. That is all Mr Clark has done, he has done it with our full consent. The evidence that Mr Clark has provided was written by your own hand and in keeping with the behaviour reported in these emails you have continued to disgrace yourself and others in this forum. We disagree with the ban on the same grounds as a recent poster (Utik) in this thread has done i.e. it is an internal matter and not for AACircle to decide who performs what functions inside our company. Jane Fang has also asked me to post this, an email from you to her in which you pretend to be a Trent Thompson a job seeker living in Nishinomiya. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Brian Miller <ttkansai@hotmail.com> Date: 2006-10-21 下午5:29 Subject: Ian Clark To: zhlfjane@gmail.com Hello Miss Fang, Is Ian Clark your Japanese recruiting officer? I'm interested in your job opportunities. Trent Thompson Nishinomiya, Japan Mr Miller - in my years of experience as a school and agency administrator I have not met a more dubious example of a school owner. ![]() | Look at the flag next to the name. It is the flag of China (or Scotland.) One of the posts was signed, Jane Fane. She's supposed to be in Shanghai. Yet, the posts originated in Japan. The Administrator can see where the posts come from, regardless of which country a person selects when registering. They are all from Ian Clark (aka Urik, Carel, RobAra87 or whatever name Clark chooses to call himself, or whatever country he chooses to claim to hail from.) It's alright if someone claims to work with connexions. But, it's not alright to claim to be a Chinese woman, when you are in fact an overweight man from Manchester. |

![]() | Hi Jane Fang's english typing skill is certainly excellent. Can u tell us in detail your story? It will add to your credibility as well. Best of luck with the true scammers out there. or should I say, "best of balanced sources of information". ![]() |
