Thanks for the address Laalala. He is that guy in the picture on his website(the big guy with long brown hair).

I applied for a job there and one of his head teachers rejected me for no good reason. I really needed the job at the time. I tried talking to the owner but he wouldn't even give the common courtesy to meet me.

I know a teacher that works there too and he hates it.

His wife works there too. Not at the address that seems to be his home. But his wifes name is Keiko. They work on the fly in and out of cafes. SHe is like in her 40s and the guy is 40s or 50s. Picture must be like 15 years or something old.
He is a heavy drinker and was arrested for some fight 3 years ago.ed to hang out at Ryan's Pub in Sannomiya til he got thrown out. The guy that worked there that I know said he is gay and he likes very Japanese guys. Wife looks all banged up too to the guy.

The guy I know said he drinks like a fish and gets into rages. He tries to get people that cross him. So be careful if you meet him esepecial when he gets to looking at guys when he drinks!

To all of this fine online community, and especially you "rogerlay", I am the handsome fellow you refer to on the Chocolateenglish web site as described as "...that guy in the picture on his website(the big guy with long brown hair)." I politely have to correct you in your assumption that you know much about GIJoe or his reputation as a man and a friend. This post is for all who feel ill towards Mr. GIJoe.

I have known him for over 25 year and will attest that although he may sometimes be quick with his temper if he feels that his reputation is being slandered, I assure you all that he is an intelligent, respectful businessman, as well as a cherished friend. Also, the comments made describing his appearance, his wifes' appearance as even her name are unfortunately also inaccurate. I have spent enough time in her company as well to know she is a sweet, caring, honest person who seems to be the opposite of what you portray.

To this webmaster, I implore you, please allow GIJoe to have posting rights again. I'm sure that this silliness has gone on far too long now. Thank you for time and consideration.

If you feel there's merit to have him come back, you should PM or email moderators.

However, as you very well point out, GI Joe seems to have anger management issues (to say the least). Not sure if that's what got him not welcome to post on here or not, but it seems like a likely culprit for the culprit.

I'm sure many readers just can't swallow your portrayal of the guy. It doesn't match GI Joe's conduct on here. He's certainly trounced himself with supporting the likes of Smith, but he trounced himself into the ground the most with his flying off the handle as he did.

Abusing members will not be tolerated. I expect all members to show courtesy and discuss things in a professional manner without lowering standards.

Well, fellow "Professionals", I believe in equality for all!! If it is acceptable for Laalala to post information about GI Joe's personal life, i.e.. home address, then is it not only fair to post this same information voluntarily about one's self?

Why on earth would we post our personal information when the whole idea of a forum AND "usernames" is to maintain a certain amount of anonymity?

How do you think members on this forum would feel if all their personal information was revealed? My real name is found no-where on the net, cause this is the way I like things. David Norton on the other hand, has voluntary posted his name and contact details on the net when he registered his domain. So it's David's own choosing to make available his ownership details of chocolateenglsih.com.

After reading this post, David Norton really seems a guy to avoid. I would definitely not work for this guy if he starts abusing the mods on this forum and other members. rogerlay seems to also have been treated unfairly by David Norton, and the fact that he was arrested 3 years ago doesn't make me feel all too warm inside.

One doesn't need to read between the lines all that much to realise what David Norton and ChocolateEnglish are all about.

Thank you for that informative information. It appears that this forum has turned into nothing more than a witch hunt and a blame game by all of you. I have enjoyed reading posts in the past and finally thought it to be a good time to drop in a few comments. I believe "real men" have no need to hide behind joker masks or feel that they cannot allow anyone to find out who they are. Apparently GI Joe did not feel it necessary to hide his information, thus showing us that he stands out to be judged, whether he is wrong or right. This makes me wonder, do we hide ourselves from each other because we all have dark, dirty secrets? Are we afraid to be judged not on our merit, or true human nature, or do we want the world to see us as "The one who does not mistake"? I think I may find a new forum with "Real" professionals who act accordingly. I stand by my personal testament of GI Joe, and will not swerve on that. I have known him far longer than most on this wonderful planet we call home. Before you sling any more mud, whether you believe it to be true or not, does this really help your own credibility? Have you just made a positive impact on our society? Instead of wasting this forum with negativity, and this includes my dear friend as well, let's all take a step back and realize we are not children, but responsible adults here for a common purpose. And that should be to help one another.

Real American Hero, I'm sure you have nothing to hide. BUT would you reveal to me your passport information? Probably not as it's none of my business, and I agree with you. My real name is also none of your business either as it serves no purpose in the relationship we have here on this forum.

David Norton on the other hand, having his name revealed and in connection with ChocolateEnglish does have an amount of importance here. All we are doing is trying to warn future ESL teachers of schools to avoid.

We all need a little help when heading to a new country to teach. Your friendship with David Norton doesn't worry me the slightest. We are all free to choose our friends. I just hope he doesn't jump at the chance to shoot his mouth off at you like he does in the business world.

Anyway, I feel the facts have come out in this thread, so time to move on.
