I think that your English skills aren't good enough to teach English in any main centre in any country. I think you're not a native speaker and most places that recruit foreign teachers are looking for native English speakers because we know, instinctively, what correct English should be. There are, however, some people out there who are supposed English "experts" who speak worse English than yours. If your heart isn't in teaching then maybe you should look for another avenue in which to make money. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. A few cents worth there! ![]() |

![]() | Re: Unsure about my teaching Amir, I am sure that you have a heart to teach English, but you seriously need to work on your grammar and punctuation. I agree with the last person who replied. English is very difficult and there are so many exceptions to each rule. Private English tutoring may be worth the investment. Don't give up on your goal to master English though. I wish you well in your pursuits. |

![]() | Re: Unsure about my teaching Amit, I personally think as a teacher you should be very confident that you are the key, to a knowledge of treasure, that you can share with your students. You got to have the basics needed as you are responsible for the students you teach, as they are tomorrow's future. If you think you can get knowledge in Germany then why not, learn as much as you can and you can always return to teaching if you have love for the profession. |

![]() | Re: Unsure about my teaching It appears that your heart is in the right place by wanting to teach little ones. But nonetheless, I think the knowledge has to follow, all the best with your decision. Last edited by gfell; Fri 24-Nov-06 at 11:55 AM. |

![]() | Re: Unsure about my teaching If the desire is there to teach, then you can make it work for you. I think that you can do it, if that is really what you have in your heart. And also I bet you will learn new things along with the students you teach. |
