I suppose I'm just being overly paranoid after all I've read about people being scammed and contracts not being kept or interpreted which ever way the employer sees fit. I'll still raise a couple of my concerns with them but I guess I can live with the others.

oh one more question!

with the contract, am I suppose to print out 2 copies and sign both to send to the employer, or just one copy? coz I need my own copy too right and photocopies don't count?

You would probably need to send both to the school. They will sign both copies too, and give 1 back to you. So in the end, both you and the school have a signed contract.
