| Senior Member ![]() | Re: Teacher Tardiness In China, it's usually public transport that's to blame.....that and ridiculous amounts of traffic. As it is, I have to commute 4 hours/day to get to class on time or I'll be penalised. It get's worse, in Guangzhou, when it rains too!

![]() | Re: Teacher Tardiness Exported kiwi, I agree. If I take the school bus, it takes about 30 min to get to school. Public transport would take about an hour and a half...on an overcrowded bus. Plus, if I'm late because of the school bus, I'm not at fault and don't get penalized. Next job (whether in China or US) I'd like to live close enough to walk or ride a bike. |
