![]() | Principal Responsibilities As a Principal (Head Master) it is important that the total control of a class is given to the teacher. Interfering in the matters between teachers and students unless asked for is not a good habit. Each teacher is aware of the responsibilities and many times it is better to let the teacher solve matters specific to their classes and students. |

I have a simple rule and if it's not followed, I walk, no notice, no arguments...nothing! I told them what I want, they tell me what they want so lets get on with it and do what we should. A Hm must ask permission to enter my classroom, at least one day ahead of the time he, or she, wishes to "pop in". This isn't so I can coach the students to impress him/her. It's so I can maintain discipline and learning momentum and God help anybody who screws with that. I'm here for the students, not some fat jumped up git of a Hm who does very little except eat expensive lunches, at the cost of the students who eat slop in a school dining hall....... sometimes, a little solidarity with the kids goes a helluva long way! A few more cents, some sense and some lessons learned the hard way by yours truly! Nuff said, ![]()
