![]() | I think USA is one of the country where pay rate is quite good. My other favourite destination is Germany. The pay rate is also good there but teaching condition is not so good there. |

![]() | Re: Pay rates in different countries My friend a teacher in Germany says German education system is rooted in the ideal of a unified approach to higher education that integrates research and teaching. They are also committed to the idea of the freedom of education, which in this case means that students can structure their studies more around what they want and how they want to learn. Wonder why you say this? |

![]() | Re: Pay rates in different countries Hello, In USA we have licensed and non-licensed teachers. The pay rate is different for both. Licensed Teachers do get good benefits compared with the non-licensed teachers. On an average rates are quite normal (not quite high). |

![]() | Re: Pay rates in different countries I'll agree that the pay rates are not really that high, (relative to other work here), but you're right, licensed teachers can get a little better rate. The rate also varies depending on the region you're in. Different parts of the country pay much better than others. |

![]() | Re: Pay rates in different countries We probablay have the lowest pay rate for teachers. No wonder a lot of our good ones are leaving for greener pastures. Can't blame them though, they have to live decent lives and they are still teaching, albiet with different students. |
