![]() | Information about APEC or apecenglish Hi Everyone, I'm trying to find information about APEC or apecenglish (website: www.apecenglish.com). It's not clear from what I have seen if this is just a school for obtaining certification or if they operate language schools themselves. They are currently advertising for teachers to work in Thailand in the ESLemployment website. I checked the "Blacklist" forum on this site and did not see anything about them, so I'm hoping that's good news. If you have any information/experience with this company, please let me know what you think of them and whether or not they can be trusted. Also, if they do operate language schools, I am interested in finding out how they are to work for. Thanks! BAM101 |

![]() | Re: Information about APEC or apecenglish If no-one has replied by now, I think it's safe to go with them. Just be always sure to have an escape / backup plan should the shit hit the fans. In the early days, it's so much easier relying almost 100% on the school to look after you. But as you get on, you should start distancing yourself from the school so that you can start to do what you in your free time. Eg: company sponsored housing puts you at a disadvantage should you have a fall out. I prefer renting my own place where no-one can come and pull the rugs out from under my feet. |
