![]() | Re: Getting a job without a degree If a job pays $300 month US it would be pretty hard to convince a person with a Masters to take on the job for the long term. However with the way things are going in the states completing even a basic degree is a ticket out the US. You start a life where you do not HAVE to be wealthy to function in society... My opinion....unless your loaded with cash life in the states can be very miserable. The debt that we are being forced to take on for basic needs such as education, shelter, health care can send us into the a deep abyss of a lifetime of debt. ![]() | Hello All, This is also a major concern of mine, getting a job without a degree, so if anyone could shed some insight it would be most appreciated. My highest level of education is a high school diploma. I recently moved to Panama and was interested in teaching English. Does anyone know the requirements for teaching in Panama? I've visited many TESL websites and some state a bachelor's degree is required while others say it is not. Thanks in advance guys! ![]() |

![]() | Re: Getting a job without a degree If in doubt, have a Bachelor's degree handy. Haven't really come across jobs in Panama, so your best source of info would be to ask directly at the schools you apply to. |
