If you need major dental work done it would be a good idea to get it done OUTSIDE North America and other industrialized countries.

The cost of dental treatment is absolutely HORRIFIC in North America. It has gotten so costly that people will travel to India for major dental treatment. Even the transportation costs figured in you can save a HUGE fortune. You can get treatment from 1/5 to 1/10 of what it costs in Canada or the US. Savings can be even greater.

Foreign dentists will repair while North American dentists will pull a tooth which will have to be replaced with an implant. They won't do it any other way under the guise of safety. I speak from bad experience. They can be down right nasty greedy. If you feel like helping a developing country you can help by paying a foreign dentist who will support his family instead of subsidizing a dentists month long cruise whilst you have to busk for pesos for your next meal
