Filipino's teaching English

Hi everyone, I'm still new here. I've been reading your posts here and I found it helpful and informative. I am an ESL teacher from the Philippines. I know it's difficult for a non-native speaker to teach abroad but I just wanna try my luck.

Arrow Filipino's teaching English

You can only try.

Try and think outside the norm. Try to do and offer something unique that native English teacher's don't have. You really need to sell yourself so much more than a native English teacher in order to find a teaching job.

Develop your skills and create a well-polished resume to give you the best chances.

Re: Filipino's teaching English

Hello there electra. Hope you succeed in your quest. Frankly, some pinoys are much better at English than a lot of native speakers. We've been taught so much English grammar since kindergarten that it's coming out of our ears by the time we finish college.

NO offense meant to native English speakers. Just my 10 cents worth...
