Apologies for your missing post. We're having technical difficulties with the board due to the collapse of the server it was running on. We are awaiting on the tech guys to fix this issue and hope to have the board up and running smoothly again asap.

The message at the top of each screen will disappear once resolved. Apologies...

Hello All,

I wonder if the ESL community is still smiling?? As many may have experienced, our site was down for a few days which also resulted in a loss of data from August 25th til Saturday 2nd.

It was our first let down with our hosting provider - after 5 years using them.

We're slowly getting back on our feet, and unfortunately there is good and bad news.

Good news is that we have now moved our entire site to a more reliable hosting provider with a better backend which should ensure a faster loading forum. The new server can better support these growing forums.

We have also now integrated community icons which you can see at the bottom of each post. This will allow you to add your favourite posts to myspace communities.

Bad news is that we lost all posts and registered users after August 25th. We deeply apologise for this and now our database is backed up nightly to prevent such a mishap occuring again. For those who cannot find their username, please re-register. If you need any assistance, we're here to help.

Anyway, to the future! We have some great plans in the pipelines which I'm sure all will enjoy!
