![]() | Re: Applying to many schools Of course it's a good idea to apply to many different schools. I don't see how this gives you a bad reputation. Schools don't talk to each other bad mouthing applicants who have applied to other schools. It would end up taking a very long time to find a teaching job if you only applied to 1 school at a time.

If you are wanting to teach English, it might pay to "brush" up on your skills a bit before applying though. I say this without any intentions of malice or to hurt your feelings, best of luck and never ever stop trying! My one cent worth today, so far! ![]() |

![]() | Re: Applying to many schools Hi Amit, very true as mentioned above, there is nothing like a bad impression if you apply for a position to several schools. You can never depend on just one position you apply for, what if you actually did apply for only one, and never got through, you would think that was the end of your capability, but on the other hand if you actually applied in several schools for 100% at least one would click. And then if you do not apply in more than one how would you ever determine the pros and cons of which is best for you. I would suggest you ask yourself what environment you would be more comfortable in German or Thai and then make your move, as a teacher you would anyways do your best. |
