Lol, if you're not used to that by now, you must be new in China! The table manners certainly leave a lot to be desired and sometimes I wonder where the end result of 5000 years of continuous civilization may be. I've searched but haven't seen much unless one likes temples and old pottery etc.
How long HAVE you been in China incidentally?

I'm in Guangzhou, not too far, coupla hours away, so if you're up this way, it'd be nice to meet another Kiwi if/when you have time.
