The important point to remember is what position you are applying for. The employer is interested in only one thing - What qualifications / experience you have for the position. That is what you need to focus on. Elaborate on that, and it should be prominently featured in the top half of the first page of your resume.

If you are hiring someone to write a resume, make sure you specify to the writer what position you are looking for.
