I feel for you very much. That's one of the reasons why I avoid like the plague living in school provided housing. It's like living at home - you have to live by the rules of mum or in your case, your school.
The only way you can get your privacy back I'm afraid is by moving. The apartment you are now in is just an extension of the school. You aren't the only one experiencing this. I also experienced it my first time too. Everywhere I went and everything I did was under the microscope almost.
