Classroom distractions come in many forms. With each distraction, both student learning and teaching quality can suffer.
Everything we have learnt to date, has been to the credit of our 5 senses.

- Touch
- Smell
- Taste
Our senses allow us to learn and reinforce previous knowledge and experiences.
The teacher needs to understand how sight, hearing and touch comes into importance when teaching English.
Smell and taste will not be discussed as they are not relevant to English learning in the classroom.
