| Mutual Funds are a scam!
Just make sure you don't buy mutual funds! This is one of the biggest scams ever invented. If there is some MF you are interested in, just look it up on the internet to see what stocks/bonds they are buying and then buy the same ones if you want to (or not).
There is no reason to pay a management fee to a MF company to make investments for you that you could easily make yourself. To buy a MF you have to go online and buy it in the same way you would buy a stock anyway, so what’s the point? Some index MFs are OK, but I’m talking managed funds here. Even so, you can buy ADRs (spiders, and cubes, etc.) that are the same as buying in to an index MF but without the management fees. |
