I suggest looking early - the earlier you start the better chance you have of finding a good position. if you rush, you might rush into something unpleasant.

Do you have ALL your papers? Are they all SCANNED into jpeg form?
You also need a copy of your transcript - left unopened - as mailed by your university.

6 to 8 weeks is fine for the peak period in March, but like I said...............

BTW, uni jobs usually go to MA/PhD holders, and are often advertised 6 months in advance
