not even need a resume. You can list in your email your qualifications, age (if it goes in your favour), availability, and what you have been up to during the last 12 months.
They most probably will reply as they see your email as straight to the point and easy to digest. Once they reply to you, then they are more willing to reply after you have sent them your full resume, as a relationship already exists.

NOT to do or write for the next job application.
