Perhaps it's what you are also including in your resume that stops schools and recruiters contacting you. Only include things that are relevant to the job.
If you are applying for a teaching job and already have 10 years experience, then don't highlight the fact that you worked as a part-time cleaner when you were 17 years old.
Do you have a university degree? Many recruiters and schools wont even contact you if you don't have a university degree, no matter what format your resume is in. |
