CELTA course or Masters course?

Hello chazrockwell,

The CELTA is only a certificate and not a Masters. CELTA standing for Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. Furthermore, it's not possible to do the CELTA via correspondence. It must be done at an approved centre as stipulated by Cambridge University. You can take the CELTA full-time over 4~5 weeks.

Can you clarify exactly what course you are after? Is it a Masters in Education with a focus on TESL?

Which course did you see that is over 3 years and very expensive?
