Well, if you're in the Philippines, I'd think that you can be dismissed for being pregnant without marriage. It's kinda archaic thinking but who am I to criticise that countrys morality problems. I think, if you're Chinese and a teacher, it would lead to problems too because, legally, one isn't allowed to have a baby without being married here. I'd expect the rules to be different for foreign teachers here. I hope that it's not the case with you and if it is, I know there's a lot of social stigma attached to having a child out of wedlock in the Philippines. Whatever your situation, good luck!
