Still not an ideal situation but it is explained in the orientation manual which all teachers have before accepting a job.

Are you a Shane DoS/senior manager? `Cos thats what you sound like. What you say is true, but that dosen't make the standby system good or deflect all the other complaints against the company. Fact is, Shane is one of the worst employers in Japan, and everyone shouls stear clear.
