Whilst it is true that some schools will be happy to employ anyone remember that wherever you go the less you are asked in terms of qualifications, the less you'll get paid and the more unreliable your contract will be. Bear in mind that a teacher with a TESL/TEFL Certificate will always be preferred to a teacher without one.
Being certified will make you more marketable and it will also, and perhaps more importantly, prepare you for the job.
A quality online courses will give you the basic tools to enter a new profession with confidence, knowing that when you walk in a classroom you will be able to make a difference.
