Greetings all.

Have we all worked for Shane? Some misguided ideas about the sick teacher procedure here. Sick teachers don't find replacements - there is a rota of stand-by teachers each month with half a dozen names on every working day. Head office give a contact number to the sick teacher and the stand-by teacher expects to be called.

Still not an ideal situation but it is explained in the orientation manual which all teachers have before accepting a job.
