I just checked with the Japanese Consulate here in Miami about the visa. Apparently it is not the same for Americans. They apparently don't like us as much as you guys over there in Australia. Well he actually told me that relations between Japan and USA are quite different from those and Australia.. I'm told that if I go to Japan on a tourist visa that I will more than likely have to return to the USA before switching to a work visa.

That really sucks, but I've got a couple interviews lined up. One with Amity and with Interac, but I've got no idea where I'll be placed with them...
