Definitely unmotivated students make teaching difficult. Fortunately, I have a few really good students in each class to balance out the ones who just go to sleep in the back. I've also had the problem before with students who think only learning vocabulary is necessary for learning English. Trying to change a student's way of learning and thinking in order to help them improve is frustrating. |
