Turkey.... can't expect you would get much pay. Probably the guys who teach there do it for the experience more than for the money.
It's a very beautiful country with all the infrastructure and modern world conveniences you would want. This was my impression a few months ago when I passed through it.
The further east you go though, the less modern conveniences you will see. I wouldn't go to far east since you are bordering onto Iraq, Iran and Syria. Not really comfortable being around these guys.
