I live in Italy and there seems to be a growing lack of mother-tongue English teachers. The reason for this is maybe the high cost of living compared to what you can expect to earn. So check the pay very carefully. Remember that a small apartment in Italy will cost you €500 to €800 to rent, so you will be forced to share.
