I do agree with everything you said, especially when you mention that non-native speakers don't have the inbuilt ability to know certain things and the fact the non-native will always be at a disadvantage to a native speaker. I can tell by my own experiences.
I keep struggling hard and trying to change this but I still think it is a reality that won't be changed at least for now!
But thank God we all agree and get along well!!
