ESL to broaden their graduate school application Does anyone have experience (personally or hearsay through a friend / colleague) about former ESL teachers that got into ESL to broaden their graduate school application?
While I entered ESL to learn a language and finance traveling abroad, my primary aim was to broaden my resume and graduate school application. I feel that if I can score a 9 or higher on the HSK advanced that applying for an Eastern Studies PhD would be a much smoother process.
I also plan (after the HSK) to get an MA from Peking University in Chinese Lit, and from there make the transition back State-side for my PhD. |
