Without the bachelors degree you wont be hired as a teacher. But you can find other work on a working holiday visa. As another member suggested a guest house is your best bet for a place to stay and you do get the deposit back in full the day you leave. They are a good value for the money. Most on a working holiday visa stay in them for the value and a great way to meet people from all over the world.

Japan is cracking down on teachers and without a bachelors degree there is no hope of being hired by a school.
