I doubt rwall7943 received a visa without a degree. More likely the case is that this person's school was willing to accept teachers under the radar without actually holding a valid work visa.

Something I would not want to do. You are at the mercy of your school and the law and have no case should you get caught.

sevenseconds, I doubt your certificate in pastry cooking along with another certificate in TESOL is going to help. Basically you will be presenting 2 certificates. Different if the case was a DEGREE in pastry cooking (if there is such a thing) along with your TESOL certificate.
