Re: Don't work here: American School, A.I.E.S. in Nagoya, Japan

One point of curiosity:

A work visa in Japan is cannot be issued the same day that you go in to renew it. You fill out the paper work and they then get you to fill out a postcard. Within a 2 weeks the postcard you filled out is sent to you by mail letting you know your visa has been processed and for you to come to immigration. When you show up, your visa is then put into your passport and you're good to go.

So I don't quite understand how this teacher could be issued a visa the same day that she went to renew.

If even one tenth of what was said above is true and can be backed up with any reports from the police (as all reporting incidents are done so), then this guy and his school's reputation are toast.

Dan Lewis it seems is also a former Mormon Missionary to Japan:

Japan Osaka | Friend Search

For an LDS member to engage in these sorts of things is rather contradictory to things.

Has anyone posted this to any websites for Japanese folks in Nagoya to warn them in Japanese? That would perhaps be a good avenue to persue.
