Re: Don't work here: American School, A.I.E.S. in Nagoya, Japan

I have been watching this site for some time now and would like to enter the discussion if I may. The good thing about the internet is that you can find a lot of information about things and people but you don’t always know if it is true.

It is true that this discussion has opened more than a can of worms but some of the facts and questions are easy to answer.

What I have found out is that Dan Lewis and Hitomi Ishizuka are husband and wife; it appears that they have kept their family names even though they have been married for a number of years.

The school named "American School" is not owned by Mr. Lewis or his wife but by her parents and she is a manger of the business and Mr. Lewis is an employee.

I could not find the school or company by the name of AIES registered at all, which makes me wonder if it is registered of just a subsidiary of American School.

The family Company seems to have a few businesses involved with a real estate section as well.
It is easy for anyone to confirm this by checking company records on the internet. If I have stated anything incorrectly here Mr. Lewis please feel free to correct me.

I do have a few questions.
How many teachers have left American school or AIES of their own free will in the last few years because they were unhappy?
How many teachers actually completed their contracts in the same period?
Why are so many people making complaints against this school on this and other web pages?
Why don’t you ever seem to answer the questions asked of you rather than half answering them?

If you wish to clear you name and the name of the company you work for I would suggest that full answers would be required.
