The farm is a Jersey stud dairy farm milking anywhere from 100 to 280 cows daily. The farm is in the middle of
a farming region, and is surrounded by dairy farms, orchards and cropping farms. It's 2 hours drive north of
Melbourne in a town called Numurkah.
About the Family
The host family have a spare room in their home and would welcome
you to stay as part of their family. Their youngest son who lives
and works on the farm is 32 and another of their daughters (33) visits
regularly with her young children. It is a 5 minute trip into town
(population of 3500 people) where there are a couple of primary schools and a
secondary college.
